Salam...
Pagi ni tak pergi ke parlimen, gara-gara tertinggal passcard di rumah. sampai ofis pukul 8, check2 takde passcard. terus msg bos kata tak pergi sebab nanti tak dapat masuk sebagai petugas.
Semalam masuk parlimen, duduk belakang Mr Karpal, rupa2nya terkeluar pulak kat TV. Tiba-tiba je diriku diingati semua orang hehhe dapat sms cakap nampak muka kat TV. Pagi ni pun i received unusual greetings from people hahaha lawak2. Only if i was there as Mr Karpal's assistant, barula best kan.
My first day at the parliament, nervous of course, i was not told (or maybe i forgot) that there would be flocks of 'crows'. They all wore BLACK and there i was so colourful at the mid of the floor hehehe but still yesterday i went with my bright yellow tudung and orangy pants suit lol.
Itu satu bab, the next bala' is when you feel so tiny among all the men, yes lots of men, that when you talked they hardly hear you. Plus, when they talked and laughed the politicians way. Of course the lobby is always noisy. But after some times i do make girl friends with other ministry.
The only time that i felt comfortable when the session started. Sitting thru out the first half-days were momentous hours. Listening to your leaders and watching their behaviours, seeing the way they backed up each other and debating on the rakyat's issues..well its a new scene afterall when you see it live. Especially the PR srikandis, soft voice but powerful thoughts and words! Teringat pulak zaman2 masuk debate dulu.
Anyway, all the best to my Srikandis parliament, may Allah give you more strength and 'kepetahan berbicara'.
Lets pray for Raja Petra as well, may Allah help him and family go thru and win this battle. Ameen...
Got to go back to work!

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah...
Allahuakbar, lamanya tak update blog, lama tak baca blog and blog hopping. This morning, i'm thinking of giving some new breath to this blog. So what to tell about? maybe some current news as i dont think i can recall and recap what happened since i last wrote kan?
Several things bothering me now:
1) EXAMM!!!! I started a prof cert early this year. thinking that now i've enough money and little darling now is bright and independent, made me register myself straight away. but then after few weeks, i realised that i just dont have the TIME! yes, yes i know... nobody should have no time coz 24hours is standard around the world but the demerger thing really squeeze everyone to none every single day! cant afford to take leave or even half day.. weekends, not big a help though. Less than 1 month to go, havent covered a single chapter properly not to mention the practise questions. Ok, relax, relax... nad, take a deep breath now..fuhh
2) Parliament liason In addition to buckets of workload, i was 'gifted' with another one; the parliament. Handling the E**O & p**t-**b responses are already like hell, starting the 30th onwards, have to be present during all sessions, for standby of course. A new approach to project good image to the MPs, cater both ruling parties. MPs' are taking their oaths today. the only thing that i'm looking forward is meeting with my favourite MPs. Will make the effort to talk to them personally and frequently (yo yo o jee) Honestly, i can already imagine the boredom and tiredness. Hope can do my study revision there.
3) Sarah's come back (she being away from the husband bothers me actually) Sarah is coming back, yeay and sob..sob.. She'll be away from the hubby, tarbiyah she said for her and dear hamza. its gonna be real tough, i can tell. However, insyaAllah, everythings gonna be fine. You'll be doing it upon good cause. I'll be here same with sha and everyone else. the same old troop with different life but insyaAllah with the same friedship spirit, more matured i think. cant wait to see you and hamza. rabbi yassir wala tuassir, ameen..

PRU12 - BAWA PEMADAM PENCIL
Salam PRU12 especially to Malaysian Voters..
Info sharing..

GOOD NEWS FOR WORKING MUMS
Assalamualaikum warahmatullah..
Today, The Sun published a short-written study titled "CHILDREN HAPPY WITH WORKING MUMS". Its catchy becoz usually studies always give not a favourable result when it comes to working mums and their children. Here we go:
Recently, a published study by SINGAPORE CHILDREN'S SOCIETY stated that, Children of employed mothers are HAPPY, contrary to what people may think, and they feel their mothers OFTEN SPEND TIME with them whether the mother is WORKING OR NOT. :)
It claims that hours spend at the office will NOT AFFECT the emotionla being of the young.
1,800 parents and children (6 - 12 years old) were interviewed. 83% of the youngsters feel happy often or very often. More than 95% - like parents working, and 98% have enough friends.
" Perhaps children dont expect their mums to spend all the time with them", said the senior researcher.
Malay and Indian children said that they spend time more with the parents compared to Chinese maybe because Malay and Indian communities are close-knit.
I bet after reading this you'll say that this study is still very subjective and debatable. I agree. Firstly, i believe that 99% of the samples are Singaporean which is very much different in so many ways with Malaysians.
Sorry guys, if you feel the study is not valid. But the fact is, children are dearest at each mother's heart. They will always be our baby till the end of time. Working or not working; the bottomline is to give the BEST for them. Sorry to say but ONLY mothers* UNDERSTAND mothers.
*not confined to biological mothers
